Before moving to NYC in 1998, BRIAN REA spent 3 years in a doublewide trailer raising box turtles and writing a wicked cool pilot for the WB. His illustrations have appeared in many national publications, including Playboy, Fast Company, The Nation, Outside, and Ray Gun. His work has also been recognized by The Art Directors’ Club, The Society of Publication Designers, Communication Arts, Print Magazine, and American Illustration. When not teaching illustration or exhibiting his work, Brian likes to get away for mental health sessions up in the mountains or out in the surf.
